My Sweet Baby

I love my baby! She is the most wonderful little angel I could ever have hoped for. She is almost three months now, and is a pure joy in our home! She can bring a smile to anyone's face, just by being so dang sweet. She smiles at everyone she sees, and is such a low key baby. It's amazing what such a small person can add to your life!

Singing with Mommy. She loves it!

One month old!

She loves when Daddy makes her lips go blublublublublub!

First smile!

Her elephant gym. This is her FAVORITE toy. She will lay under it for over an hour and hit the side rings. She is now attempting to get the middle ring, but it's a little harder.

First trip to the zoo!

First hockey game! She didn't like it.

Happy birthday, Craig! (2/2/11)

Brooklyn loves her Grandpa! This was taken at Brinley's off-treatment party.

Blessing day. 2/6/11. It was a wonderful day, and it was so great to have all the family here! She cried during the blessing, but luckily she still sounds like a little cat when she cries, so no one really heard her.

Benefits of baby blessing... Everyone was here!

Lower bowl Jazz tickets after a delicious birthday dinner with Craig's parents... Awesome!
Two months!

Shots. That's all I have to say.

Morning nap with Mommy. After Mommy got up. Haha
Wedding dinner for Steph and Berto!

Like I said. Her favorite toy. She concentrates so hard on that middle one!!!

She can roll over from her tummy to her back, but not all the way from her back to her tummy. She gets stuck on her side. It's so cute! She is the happiest, calmest, wonderful baby on the block! That doesn't mean she doesn't drive me a little nutty sometimes, but it comes with the territory I guess.

Welcome, 2011!

We finally ventured to church Sunday, and here is Brooklyn in her Sunday dress! It was fun to have her there, and she looked so cute and precious. We went to Craig's parents ward, and lots of people were really excited to see her. :) She was good and just slept the whole sacrament meeting.

Last week she got her first bath! She was very angry and crying right before this picture. As soon as we stuck her in the tub, she stopped and made this cute face! She loved it! It was quite the experience. Bathing a baby is harder than I thought!
Here are some of her funny favorite sleeping positions.

Watching Lord of the Rings with Bucket.
New Years was awesome! We went upstairs to the Grant and Jessica's place, and played games and ate food. Mmmmm!

Brooklyn's here!

Today Brooklyn turned two weeks! It was then I realized it was time to update. :) She was born on December 15 at 7:27 pm. She was 6 lbs 13 oz and perfect! I was in labor for about 20 hours, and after that looooong period of time she was born! Everything went relatively well with no setbacks or problems, but she had the cord wrapped around her neck twice when she came out. She was quite blue and had to be on oxygen overnight and into the next afternoon. I got a fever of 101.7 during labor, so she had to stay in the nursery so they could monitor her and do some blood tests. We were lucky to have her with us on the last day, and be able to take her home Friday night! Yeah!

At the hospital, waiting for baby to come!

I got my share of flavored ice chips! Mmm!

Finally here!

Good little girl, barely even cried.

Home at last...

Christmas was great! We opened all our presents on Christmas Eve, to save our Christmas morning from hectic "open all your presents" combined with severe lack of sleep. It was so fun! Christmas afternoon we headed to Craig's parents house to open more presents and take a family picture. Later that night we had dinner with the Torreses and my parents who were in town. It was more of a mellow Christmas for us, but perfect!

Christmas stockings!

New jammies

We ALL got new jammies!

Last night we went out to dinner with my parents to celebrate Craig's graduation! He made it through this crazy baby time with excellent grades to finish up his Bachelor's Degree! Congratulations Craiggy!

Where's the baby??

Yes, that is the question. Where is the baby? Little Brooklyn was due this last Sunday, the 5th. However, she is still snuggly comfy in my belly. :) I'm getting induced next Tuesday night, the 14th. We'll see how that goes. So far my pregnancy has been splendid! I didn't get too sick in the beginning (what I mean by that is that I didn't throw up. I still felt terrible!) and I didn't get too too huge. It's been fun, besides all the discomfort of being big and running into things with my stomach. Can't wait for her to get here!!

Also, it's almost Christmas time! We got prepared early this year, and all our presents are already wrapped and under the tree. Ahh. What a nice feeling. I loveChristmas! Mr. Bucket lives with us now, and is enjoying his new home. We love having him here with us! My life is almost complete. Craiggy graduates this semester (next week!) with his Bachelor's, and we are so excited! He is still working at CR England, and they treat us really well with all the upcoming baby business. We have migrated across the hall to a bigger condo, with two rooms and a yard. I love it here!

Oh Christmas Tree....

Oh Christmas tree, I love you.

Me and Craiggy bought our first Christmas tree! Woo hoo! We are putting it up Saturday... Don't fear, it's only a week early. Most people will put it up next Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. We want to do it before Thanksgiving because then when Mom and Dad are here they can come over and see! Not only am I excited for the tree, but for all the decorations! I have alot, and I can't wait to decorate our tiny living space. It will be grand.

Thanksgiving is next week! I can't wait - Mom and Dad are coming, and I'm excited to see them. They won't bring Bucket this time, I'm sure. :( But all the family will be there this year (except Matt and Jen) and we will have great fun! This is the year I will learn to cook something Thanksgiving-related. Yahoozie!

We made our Christmas lists on Monday. It was kind of awkward, because I didn't know what to put. Usually around this time I have a list of 100 things I want already. On my list it said "#1 - a duffel bag. #2 - Ohs." That's it! Haha I can't think of what I want. I want a bigger house, that's what I want. And no need for a job. That's my new list! I'm quitting my job and we're moving out!

I just wrote an 8 page research paper on stem cell research. Blah. I hate school!
